Stichting Scarabee wil als Renkumse kunstorganisatie een podium bieden aan kunstenaars van verschillende kunstdisciplines en publiek in contact brengen met kunst en kunstenaars. De relatie tussen kunst en landschap staat daarbij centraal. Uit die gedachte zijn initiatieven ontstaan als ArtBorne, SlowTalks, Artist Visiting projecten, Klankbordbijeenkomsten en (bijdragen aan) DoKArt en de Sociëteitsavonden.

oranje vereniging
De Oranjevereniging Oosterbeek is een bruisende, dynamische vereniging die grote evenementen organiseert. Behalve dat ze ieder jaar de kermis en de Koningsdag organiseert, verzorgt de Oranjevereniging Oosterbeek op 4 mei de dodenherdenking. Daarnaast wordt er in het kader van de dag voor de rechten van het kind een ceremonie gehouden rond het Kinderbevrijdingsmonument in Oosterbeek. Eens in de vijf jaar wordt een groot evenement georganiseerd rond de Bevrijdingsdag op 5 mei.

kunstgalerij albricht
Kunstgalerij Albricht werd in 1973 opgericht door wijlen Peter Albricht te Arnhem. Sinds 1997 is ook de oudste zoon Bob aan de zaak verbonden.
Albricht is gevestigd in het voormalige gemeentehuis “Het Huys te Oosterbeek” anno 1866. De kritisch samengestelde collectie omvat zeldzame Hollandse en Franse schilderkunst voor fijnproevers, niet zelden van museale kwaliteit.
Vanaf 2014 is Albricht ook in Londen vertegenwoordigd met een tweede galerie. Onder de naam Albricht Londen wordt vanuit de Duke of York street in de chique en kunstminnende wijk St. James’s een meer internationale clientèle bediend.
Daarnaast geeft Albricht jaarlijks acte de présence op de kunstbeurzen TEFAF Maastricht en PAN Amsterdam.

5 dorpen in het groen
Vereniging Vijf Dorpen in ’t Groen zet zich in voor het behoud van het landschap en het unieke dorpskarakter in de gemeente Renkum.
Dat doet ze door ruimtelijke plannen en het beheer van de groene ruimte nauwgezet te volgen en waar nodig bij te sturen.
Maar ook door via adviezen actief bij te dragen aan het behoud en de verbetering van natuur en landschap in de gemeente.
